About Us
Our Mission
AVC aims for our staff, patients, and clients to work as a team, so we can provide the best lifelong care possible for pets and their families.
We do this together with you and your pets by building mutual trust, fostering clear communication, exhibiting compassion, and being driven to learn and educate.
The AVC Difference
Dr. Rowland and the AVC staff are committed to offering the most up-to-date and effective care in the area, but you could say that about many local clinics. What sets us apart is our commitment to making that care easier, less stressful, and more understandable. Those are the real barriers to health care, and we work hard to lower them because that’s what access is really about.
We understand that you want the knowledge to provide the best care for your pets at home. That’s why our staff’s last question is always, “Do you have any other questions?”
All our DVMs and Technicians are dedicated to providing the most current and effective care available, with advanced training in diagnostics like ultrasonography and treatments like radiosurgery.
There is no such thing as “just a dog” or “just a cat” at AVC. Our patients are your family, and they are our family too.

Human Coronavirus (COVID-19) Measures
The health of our patients, clients, and staff is AVC’s top priority. The novel coronavirus has a very real chance of impacting us all, and we are taking the matter seriously to reduce risks of transmission at our offices.
